Poor Boy Avionics of San Angelo was started over 30 years ago. At first we operated a part time business doing only Altimeter and Transponder certifications. We have grown to include Avionics Sales and installations. Recently having three mechanics with IA’s we began a maintenance program to service customers while their aircraft where having avionics upgrades. This has expanded into Annual, 100 hour, 50 hour, and 20 hour inspections. Having combined expertise of 120 years in aircraft maintenance and avionics our program has grown from basic inspections to log book reconstruction and major repairs and alterations. We service home built aircraft through Jets and helicopters. Specialty installations and interface for law enforcement, crop dusters, and ranchers has been an area of enjoyment and challenge. We seek to give the best advice and service. Our desire is for a safe transition to your new equipment and the best quality craftsmanship available. We have avionics technicians and mechanics with 40 to 50 years of Aviation Service. Andy Bush and Tommy Williams just received their Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award for 50 years of Aviation Maintenance Service. |
